My boys make me laugh, cry and everything in between almost every day. A couple of nights ago it was Jacob's turn. It was time for our night-time routine, and as always it was time for Daddy to lay down with his big boy to tell him a good night story and to say night-night prayers. As I was beginning to pray, I asked Jacob to repeat after me. This is how it went:
Daddy: "Thank you for Mommy"
Jacob: "Tank ou for mommy"
Daddy: "Thank you for Daddy"
Jacob: "Tank ou for daddy"
Daddy: "Thank you for Baby Jonathan"
Jacob: "Tank ou for baby onathan"
Daddy: "Amen"
Jacob: "And Tank ou for Jacob"
It made me laugh and brought a tear to my eye. And I told him how much I loved him and what a blessing he is. Then we continued on with night-time routine, which usually means Daddy falling asleep before Jacob.
